NV power & gas have been difficult to contact. Wanted to know
If NV has any special programs for disabled, etc.

Apparently the energy asst via state welfare isn't useful to
Many people. Read that if you have a gross income 110%
Or less below federal poverty level there is some kind of " lump
Sum" aid.

Firstly, that's really low! Who could even rent ? Any words
Of wisdom here? Are they just a monopoly to be accommodated
As they see fit?

Thanks

Got through to NV power (or energy) said would call back
After lunch (odd) & didn't.
Hope all the necessary evils aren't the same. No downed
Power line, but still...

Sounds like you are among "the 47%" that think others should feel obligated to "accommodated" their living expenses?

Take it back. Someone actually called.
She did not think a history of punctual utility
Bills would help w/deposits, etc.

Apparently you have to have the yr history
To average bill throughout the year.

In CA sometimes houses have the window units.
I have found central a/c more cost effective except
For big cathedral ceilings. Do use heavy lined
Curtains.

Looked @ threads here; do a lot of people
Take hot air out through roof?

You feel that taking tax exemptions is exploiting the system? I always thought taken advantage of Tax breaks was as American as Apple Pie.

I don't see this as much different. One takes advantage of the programs set up to be taken advantage of by those who meet certain parameters.

Instead of writing troll posts, how about using your time and energy to perform a task that some might find anatomically impossible. However, with your attitude, I'm sure that you'd be able to accomplish it.
