I wish I had known Vegas is such a nice place to live, I would have moved here earlier.

Now I'm curious, just what kind of cars do you think female Asian, red neck, or nerds drive?

Celicas, pick up trucks, and 2 door sporty vehicles.

I have a Chrysler 300 by the way. No big rims, just factory wheels. Legal tinted windows and veteran license plates. Yet I still get stopped often...weird.

Does that come with the dub stickers standard or is that a dealer add on?

I am one of the few that does not have that DUB decal. I'm starting to see seniors citizens with 22 inches and bigger. Maybe it's the large open wheel well that's so inviting to fit something bigger.

I don't think I will ever put non factory rims on a vehicle again. Waste of money for me now.

Well, my partner and I are considering moving back to LV for a second time, so these comments relate to my first sojourn there in 2004. It was not successful. Like other people here have said in different threads, employment was a lot harder to come by than I expected considering Vegas was a boom town.

Here are the things I wished I knew back in 2004:

1. The dominance of the LDS church in certain aspects of the town (at least back then)
2. How hard it would be to find a job
3. How low the wages would be compared to where I came from
4. How stupid it was to move 1500 miles away with no source of income
5. How much I would miss my family back home
6. I had no plan and no clue about what Vegas was like or what I would do once I got there

If we come back this year or next, here is what will be different:

1. I will have a job waiting for me in my new field (teaching), which I trained for after leaving Vegas
2. We will have two incomes not just one which will make the financial situation much, much better
3. I will regularly travel back home to see my family and will have the means to do so
4. I will have an actual plan and will know what I am in for (to an extent)

If a redneck won the lottery, he'd buy this:

And then have a bunch of Confederate flags painted on the panels. Unless he was a Chevy man, then it'd be the GM equivalent of this Ford F-450.

Naw! every Redneck knows that the only truck with a true Diesel, not a gas-converted diesel, is the Dodge!

I believe THIS is what it would look like!
