can anyone recommend a good place in the Spring Valley area?

Thanks

Supposedly the two best places are: Lotus of Siam on Sahara. I did not care for it myself, is in a bad area, no atmosphere and pricey but foodies claim it is the best. The other is Pin Kao; two locations, one on Rainbow N. and the other Rainbow S. Atmosphere of north is very nice and homey. Had takeout from them just the other night and actually when you analyze most dishes are noodle or rice based (inexpensive products) with little meat and the rest veggies, a bill of $45 for 2 was quite high. But seriously, those are the two everyone who likes Thai raves about.

I'd vote for Pin Kao, but confess I haven't been to Commercial Center for years. Although Lotus of Siam the other day was listed by some travel mag as one of the best in the U.S.

Nittaya's is not Spring Valley, it's next to Sun City, Lake Mead and Rampart, but it is really good, and not "in your face" spicy Thai food. Nittaya's Secret Kitchen - Summerlin - Las Vegas | Urbanspoon

Pin kaow and Archi's are both good and on Rainbow Blvd. Archi's seems to be a bit more consistent than Pin Kaow, but somehow I end up at Pin Kaow most of the time.

I Know you asked about Thai, but I'm just throwing it out there Kobe Sushi is in your hood (Rainbow/215) and has 50% off most menu items after 5:00 PM every day.

Pin Kaow is just okay food-wise. Nice service and atmosphere and decent food.

Mix Grill Cafe and Thai Basil are better, but not located in Spring Valley.
