i want to move to las vegas to work as a security officer in a casino... my background:im 21 i was 3 years in the idf and i have a good work ethic. but i cant insure a job frome where i live. is it safe to move and then look for a job?

It's a long shot but just get on all of the major casino property job boards and start applying. Get on LV Craigslist, type in security, start applying. Get on Monster, Indeed and Career builder and start applying.

The least you can do for now.

Try the Sands. Maybe even send a note to Sheldon Adelson. Sheldon clearly has security needs and he is very fond of the IDF.

I would suspect that you would be fine coming to LV without a position. The security field is pretty open particularly if you will work cheap and have recent military experience.

Note that I am assuming you are an American Citizen. If not..don't. .

I didn't know that non-american citizens can serve in the military.

Sure they can...and do. I believe you have to be here legally but that is about it. Actually a route to quick citizenship under some circumstances.

IDF is the Israeli Defense Forces.
