We usually do Fremont Street for the live music. (Free, so the price is right). One of our own, MacGeek, took some pictures of the band Loveshack (a Vegas institution) last weekend on Fremont and the band used the photos on their Facebook page.

One reason they love Las Vegas and have been here many times or they do own places here but only use them part time. The other reason there are meets on Fremont ST is folks who do travel in stay there so there is no big deal about getting around and meeting up. Many things on Fremont ST are free and the most interesting people show up there. Food,drinks and gambling is cheaper there and you can get some great room rates if you book ahead. Us locals can drive in with ease and parking is a breeze. What better way to spend a evening with friends.
