Heading to Las Vegas one week from today, meeting my Parents out there.

Just a couple of questions because we are spending most of our time on the strip, so as it relates to the strip or DT

Which casino is considered to have the loosest slots (with an O not a U)? < this is a question my Mom specifically asked me to ask.

What about Blackjack? I know at one time Slots A Fun has $1 BJ, do they still have that? Any other good low stakes BJ?

Any good Indian food restaurants you'd suggest that are on the strip?

As it pertains to parking, my wife and I will be staying off strip but my Parents are staying at the Quad. My plan is to drive to their hotel each morning and park there for the day, with a few exceptions like spending a day at Lake Las Vegas. Anyone know how much parking is there? I had heard once that parking at the casinos are free aside from of course a tip for the valet.

Finally, my wife and I will be arriving a couple days early and want to go to Freemont Street on Saturday night. Is there a recommended parking garage or area that we should go to?

Thanks

Parking is free anywhere on the strip. If you Valet park, the valets expect a tip, but it's not mandatory.

You won't find decent slots on the strip. Some of the near strip locals places (the Palms come to mind) are better. In truth, learn to play table games, and find ones with good rules, and you'll lose less and have more fun, than playing slots. You could also learn video poker basic strategy, and track down good pay table machines, and also lose less, and maybe even come out ahead.

Can't help you with Indian food.

Thanks. Didn't realise that you could just park your car for free anywhere. I thought you had to valet park.

Yeah, it's my Mom who loves the slots, can't get enough of them. I'll let her know about The Palms. Me I'm a blackjack player, just have a very small bankroll. I do want to learn to play poker and plan on looking for some of those free classes that I hear about different casinos offering.

Tamba is located right on the Strip. Highly rated on Yelp, so it might be worth trying

Slots A Fun got rid of their $1 BJ after they were bought out by Circus Circus. I used to like the place but it just seems kinda sterile now - which is weird, because it's still pretty dingy. That whole area is kind of dead now. A lot of tourists don't go north of Wynn/Encore.

I'm not much of a BJ player but IIRC the cheapest you'll find on the strip is $3 in the cheaper casinos like Circus Circus. It's usually limited to one or two tables though.

As for parking at the Quad, I don't know how much has changed since the remodel from the Imperial Palace - but self parking there was always a hassles. The ramp's layout was confusing and looked sketchy (no lights) in a few areas. Probably worth it just to have the valet park it and pay the $5 tip.

The loosest sluts can be found in Nye County

I can't stand gambling. But even I know that it's not the minimum bet amount -- it is the rules of the table game that matter.

A low-bet blackjack game where a dealer hits on a soft 17 and blackjack pays out 3:2 will take more money from a gambler than a higher-bet game with more favorable rules.

Also, the only slot machine worth playing on the strip is Lion's Share at the MGM.

To the OP, my mom, may she rest in peace, used to love the slots. I remember the first time I took her to Bally's years ago. By the time we left, I thought I had created an addicted gambler! ...I had to literally drag her out, of course she had won some so she loved it. lol

Personally I think the whole "loosest slots" thing is a myth.

Anytime my wife and I are at MGM, I encourage her to throw $3 into the machine. (I'm not allowed to gamble at MGM properties.)
