I was just wondering as of the 2010 Census what ethnic groups are in the Las Vegas area? Be specific if anyone can tell me. I know black,Asian,Hispanic-be specific what Hispanic groups are in Las Vegas, native American? Just wondering too are their any British people/Australian people that live in Las Vegas that are US citizens too?

I've never been to Las Vegas so can someone please give me the ethnic groups that are in Las Vegas. So if I do happen to go their what ethnicities I will see.

There are people from all over the world visiting Las Vegas, and many ethnic groups represented by its residents, I'm sure you could find the census data online. Which groups you will "see" is really difficult to predict, and, for instance, you won't be able to tell one "Hispanic" group from another. As far as whether there are US citizens from Britain or Australia living in LV, I imagine that there are.

City-Data's main page has links to each state, then links to major Cities/Areas of each state with more statistical information than you can ever need.

//www.city-data.com/city/Las-Vegas-Nevada.html

Here is the breakdown according to the City-Data page for Las Vegas taken from the page linked above
:
  • White alone - 279,703 (47.9%)
  • Hispanic - 183,859 (31.5%)
  • Black alone - 62,008 (10.6%)
  • Asian alone - 34,606 (5.9%)

This from a New York Times article December 12, 2012.....

The term “minority,” at least as used to describe racial and ethnic groups in the United States, may need to be retired or rethought soon: by the end of this decade, according to Census Bureau projections released Wednesday, no single racial or ethnic group will constitute a majority of children under 18. And in about three decades, no single group will constitute a majority of the country as a whole.

As the United States grows more diverse, the Census Bureau reported, it is becoming a “plurality nation.”

It gets jumbled, because Latinos come in all colors
Here is a breakdown from the official Census site:

American Indian and Alaska native alone 4,125 (.71%)
Asian alone 35,620 (6.10%)
Black or African American alone 64,858 (11.11%)
Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific native alone 3,426 (0.59%)
Some other race alone 84,785 (14.52%)
Two or more races 28,678 (4.91%)
White alone 362,264 (62.06%)

Population by Hispanic or Latino Origin (of any race)
Persons of Hispanic or Latino Origin 183,859 (31.50%)
Persons Not of Hispanic or Latino Origin 399,897 (68.50%)

Full Data, including 2000-2010 trends:
Las Vegas, NV Population - Census 2010 and 2000 Interactive Map, Demographics, Statistics, Quick Facts - CensusViewer

There is a small British/Australian community, but enough to keep a British market open, Marmite almost everywhere, and Vegemite in a few places, too.

Edit: Vtvette beat me to it, but these numbers from the Census site seem updated?
