Nothing will happen. This is 2013 not 1968 or even 1992

The L.A. Riots had nothing to do with Rodney King getting beat and everything to do with the state of relations between the LAPD and community.

It's my belief that Zimmerman will walk and people will certainly be mad but they'll be no civil unrest.

If everyone was as concerned for their community as Zimmerman was then their neighborhoods would be excellent. I hope he walks. Good luck to a fine American.

So you think it would be great if everyone called 911 every time they saw a "suspicious" black male walking around their neighborhood? After all, Zimmerman only made about fifty baseless 911 calls over an eight-year period. (Not all dealing with BMs, but still....)

How many times have you felt the need to call 911 to report unsubstantiated "suspicious activity" in your neighborhood?

Well I have called 911 three times I think over 15 years. . Once for an apparent drunk who I trailed a half block back for five minutes. She was not drunk it turns out....having a medical emergency. And I have called the non-emergency number a half dozen times mostly over abandoned cars left in our neighborhood or road problems.. I have also called the security patrol in Sun City a couple of times. Once for suspicious group of teenagers on the golf course and once for a stray dog...who I picked up as he was a very old and chubby beagle who was obviously a well loved pet.

The Zimmerman list does not seem unreasonable - he was a busy body. That may be a good thing..

There will be civil unrest on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. "Rioters" may even resort back to MySpace.

Just like the occupy movement.
