I know ive read this question before but i cant seem to find the where it was that i saw it. so here it goes i want to move to las vegas in march. i have been a bartnder for about 14 years as well as a food and beverage supervisor/mgr and i took a table games class at an indian casino in washington state where i had been working. how hard is it to find a job in those areas in las vegas? and should i be prepared to do something else if i have to?

It's not hard at all. The thing is that you can't expect to start working at the major hotels unless you know somebody in town, most of the dealers I know here started at the smaller casinos then worked their way into the major strip hotels.

The best advice is to be persistent, there are plenty of jobs whether you go as a bartender or table games dealer.

Moving in March??? Good luck with the summer. It will be a hot one. But really, you will do fine here, just be prepared to make a few sacrifices at first.
