Perhaps it was the name listed on the resume. Something like Hugh Janus.

2010 - 2013: Distribution center. Logistics - Support role. Trained in and fulfilled a variety of roles related to inventory management, order processing, receiving support and clerical. Recognized by corporate executives multiple times for my performance.

2003 - 2009: IT. Web design. Hosting support. IT technician. Multiple certs. Halfway through a second degree in computer science via a highly reputable university, via distance learning courses. I expect to complete it at the end of 2014.

As a test, I applied to ten jobs in Houston, TX last week. Seven call backs the same week. Three phone interviews. Four in-person interviews thus far this week, here in Houston.

I love LV, the whole valley. I love the geography, I love the desert and the city itself, especially at night time. But it's very frustrating to send out over two hundred resumes (most with customized cover letters), have two interviews, with only one of them being a marginally serious position at all. And most of the work offered through temp agencies pay very poorly, if the positions are even full-time.

McCarran To Hire 845 New Screeners - 8 News NOW

Quote:

The next step in tightening security at this nation's airports is to hire and
train baggage screeners as federal employees. All the security screeners
currently working at McCarran International Airport and at the nation's other
commercial airports need to be replaced by screeners hired by the federal
government. The deadline to do this is Nov. 19.

With that many people being hired, I would have figured it would have been all over the news.

Apply to work at PT's which is part of Golden Gaming. The main office is located at Jones and 215. It was the first place I was hired and it gave me some local experience and connections. I didn't have any experience at all and still was hired.
