We are moving to Vegas in pieces. We closed on our house, changed the locks and went back to CA. We need to go back and start furnishing the place but we're not giving up our place in CA yet. There isn't a thing in the Vegas house and we can do other things a piece at a time, but we need a mattress right away. Any suggestions for who sells decent quality, decently priced NEW mattresses that can be delivered same day? I am not interested in doing sleeping bags, even for a night. Thanks!

Mattress Firm is the only place I know that if you buy in the morning you may get it that evening.

Same day delivery is tough...you gotta buy very early or bring your own truck.
Why mot find a mattress you like in CA then order that same one in LV a few days in advance so it can be delivered in time?

We moved here 4 days before our moving truck arrived. Bought an mattress at WalMart when we got here. Surprisingly comfortable, not like the air mattresses of old. Slept on it without an issue for 3 nights until our stuff got here, and now we have another queen size bed if we have more visitors than guest rooms.

I think this forum: Sleep Like The Dead Is #1 In Sleep Product Research : Unbiased Mattress Reviews, Pillow Ratings and Much More is the one with the most information on buying a latex mattress assembled by a local mfgr. The site owner advocates buying a latex mattress made by local companies who source very high quality latex foam from the foam manufacturers.

I thought of that, but I can't find any place that sells mattresses in Las Vegas and also the Palm Springs area (unless it's changed in the last few years the same mattress has a dozen different names for the same model, making it impossible to comparison shop from store to store).

Not sure if you have a pickup truck (you can rent one from homedepot for $20) but Costco has mattresses in stock.
