strings italian cafe. been there several times, once with a large mini family reunion. great food, atmosphere, reasonable. i love their lasagna pastry. right there on the northwest corner of tropicana and eastern.

There's a Ricardo's with a big margarita tank on Flamingo and Decatur.

^^ Ricardo's is okay. I like the owner. There's better Mexican food to be had in town, butI still like the place.

My default answer for these restaurant recommendation threads where kids and different types of tastes in food will be involved is the Grand Lux at Venetian or Palazzo.

A couple days ago we went to the buffet at the Wynn. Normally buffets skeeve us out, but this one was pretty spectacular. $39.99/pp for the dinner. We normally wouldn't pay $80 for 2 of us at a buffet, but one was comp'd, so we decided to try it. AMAZING. We'll be back!
