Amazon Prime subscriptions will be reduced to $67 tomorrow for a one day sale for new members.

Amazon video has some exclusive tv series like Bosch and The Hand of God that are pretty good in my opinion.

Has anyone found an accurate online guide? Titan TV guide isn't working for me.
There's an app called TV Guide
Las Vegas Review Journal on line has a TV guide
If someone is looking for a DVR, the Magnavox MDR series works well. You can record to the hard drive or DVD

Even if you don't watch Amazon video, Prime is essential for eliminating shipping charges.

The TV Guide app doesn't do the digital channels we get over the air. No "Me TV" and "Create TV" and similar.

R-J's TV Guide is no longer working. See for yourself: TV Guide | Las Vegas Review-Journal

Before suggesting DVR's, you should learn what Media Center did. (Well, does -- if you have cable/satellite and an older version of windows.) This is no mere DVR.

I would just pony up $25 for a Schedules Direct yearly membership. You can configure most Windows TV backend servers like Nextpvr and Argus to get the guide programming from Schedules Direct.

I'm curious when people say they got Prime to eliminate shipping charges. All I have to do is spend $35 and I get free shipping on Amazon. If I don't have that automatically, I throw in batteries or drugstore items (or other stuff I have to buy regularly anyway) to push my order up to that level. In that case, are there other benefits to Prime if I'm not in need of their entertainment options?

LVRJ web is working fine: TV Guide | Las Vegas Review-Journal
TV Gide App is missing a few stations but not Me TV or Create. I just checked.

My Magnavox recorder was only about $300 and works well for me. I would have had to buy a Windows computer, software etc. plus I would need the internet. The Magnavox doesn't need all that support to work. All it needs is electricity.

Clicking the link still yields absolutely nothing other than "this thread is closed." Or is this one of those backwards, knuckle-dragging sites that only works with Explorer?

As for the PVR -- I already have internet and a powerhouse computer. Why would I want to buy a standalone PVR when I have everything necessary for a high-end PVR?

I used an ipad (Safari) for the LVRJ listings. The TV Guide app is on my Android phone, I,phone and Ipad

Doesn't work with Firefox or Chrome. I'm not putting IE on this computer just to see TV listings. I'd rather mash my fingers repeatedly with a hammer than install IE willingly.
