if you've got a hankering for some good fish taco, google santa rosa taco shop henderson nv.

My favorite pizza is just cheese and tomato so that is the real test for me.

Try Dom Demarcos on West Charlston for pizza. Same family owned as Brooklyn's favorite pizza place ( Di Fara's ). Google both places and you will see the reviews.

The pizzas in the pictures look good from both Settebello and Dom Demarcos.
My only concern is that it looks like they sprinkled parmesan cheese on the Dom Demarcos pizzas.
To me that is almost as bad as using provolone cheese on a pizza instead of mozzarella.

I never had any parmesan cheese here or in Brooklyn. I can tell you they use 3 different cheeses all imported from Italy. The Brooklyn location has a " Cult " following and is MUCH more expensive. Try Dom's and report back a mini review.

I think the Omelette House (various locations) is much better then the Cracked Egg, I would never again eat at any of the restaurants on the lake at Desert Shores (very pricey and nothing so special that a good cook can't turn out at home) and the Lakes Lounge at the Lakes has the most wonderful prime rib on Fri. and Sat. nights.

Cracked Egg for breakfast (coffee cake, yum).. I've only been to the one on Green Valley Parkway. I have to bring up Casa Don Juan again for Mexican. Superb, although I have yet to try the truck in front of the tire shop at LVB/95. Always has a line, and the line is always locals.

I prefer Egg Works to the Cracked Egg for breakfast. The food is excellent, but the thing that impresses me most is that it's always well-staffed.

Rise & Shine: A Steak & Egg Place :: The Best Breakfast in Las Vegas!
I'll have to get out there and try it sometime. Its a pretty part of the valley, and I lve steak and eggs. Babystacks on Buffalo has some good offerings as well. Lemon ricotta pancakes!

My preferred Cracked Egg location is the Cheyenne and Tenaya spot.

Whoever upthread recommended the Omlete House- Yes. I like that place, too. No shortage of good breakfast offerings in Vegas.

For a bizzare little locals treat, there is a taco shop in the back of an AM /PM on Ann Rd just east of Coleman. The guy started out leasing space in the parking lot with his mobile grill, and eventually leased some space in the store itself. Realy addictive tacos. Carne asade, BBQ Pork, chicken, etc.

Besides, who doesn't want to say they travelled to the scary North Las Vegas to eat a taco at the back of an AM / PM? Instant street cred. Actually it is a very safe and scenic part of NLV, just south of Aliante, but no one has to know that.
