Actually more in places like Sun City. But they provide a neat environment with amenities that don't exist in normal developments.

There are senior places more reasonable than the Sun Cities but still at or above the "standard" rent and generally with some sort of social activities. Finally There are some 55+ places that are quite inexpensive including some mobile home parks. Often run by the Housing Authority or some other government entity.

How much are the new senior apts just built on Lone Mountain right off of Rancho? Just a skip and a jump from the Santa Fe Station.

People build and own rental units to make money. Why should the age of the renter make a difference?
Landlords should lose money by renting to 55+ folks? That's bad business.
