We have had plenty of these threads before. Someone would post for the safest place to live in the valley, say that they are "single", then forget to mention that they had a school aged teenager with them. (Maybe the teenager didn't matter).

We even had a thread where someone forgot to mention their four dogs.

I'm not one to ever assume someone has kids. I am happy I will be moving without having to even give a thought to schools...ever!

I guess the best new residents are the ones that don't have to worry about anything, including jobs.

Anyone know anything about these places/the area that I've come across?

San Croix, Rancho Destino, Oasis Crossings.

They seem to be clustered around each other. Thanks!

My wife has medical condition that she needs to live in a dry place to recover. So we are planning to move to Las Vegas. Due to my work situation, my wife will move first and I'll join her in a later time. Since she will be living alone (she is a small person) and she doesn't drive, so we are looking to rent a decent place that is safe for her and within walking distance to the Whole Foods Market in either Tenaya or Fort Apache. I've looked at Indigo Creek but the reviews are not really good.

We don't have kids, no schools, no pets, and no work (wife). So we are pretty flexible. We hope to keep the budget under $800/month.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Camden Pines on Torrey Pines & Tropicana. Lots of strippers and cocktail servers live here and have not had any problems. 15 minutes away from the strip as well. Been here 3 years and have loved all 3 of those years.
