Hey all, getting ready to retire from the Navy, and just bought new in the NW. I'm looking for a desert landscaping design for my backyard, and while there were some posts on the subject they're a few years old. Hoping some of you could help me out with suggestions on which company to use.

Planning on spending around 5k, but could go a little higher as I want a quality backyard that is enjoyable to spend time in. Suggestions based on experience good/bad are greatly appreciated.

I know that applies to specific real estate agents, but does it for businesses such as landscaping, too? I regularly see recommendations for moving companies. Same principle, it would seem.

Got a couple who just bought a home in Providence. Military retirees also. They had their backyard done for a reasonable sum. Will forward their recommendation as soon as I get it - That is at least if they are still as fond of the landscaper as they were initially.

You can recommend specific landscaping companies (or dozens of other businesses/professionals. You cannot post consumer complaints about one you don't recommend.

The prohibition on specific recommendations applies only to realtors.

In response to whether they still liked their landscaper and would they recommend I got back...

"Absolutely, Travis was great and best prices for what you get. Travis works for Ultimate Landscaping. His cell # 408-2021. If you mention the Internet ad, you get an extra 10% off."

Las Vegas Landscaping | Vegas Landscapers

I would call Travis if I were you. Sometimes quality varies inside a company.
