I very much appreciate all the help. This is a big project for me.
I've yet to meet a spreadsheet Open Office can't open.

Open Office said it needs Java Runtime. So I installed it and rebooted. And Open Office STILL says it needs JRE. I've taken MacGeek up on his offer.

I'm not an expert by any means but there are a couple of things I've learned the hard way. By any chance do you have both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems on your computer? There may be one version for 32 bit and one for 64 bit. I don't know much more than that, but just saying that could be one reason O O says it needs Java Runtime even though you've already installed it. One other possibility could be that you downloaded the program but never actually installed it. Do you remember a pop up window that said something like "Do you want to run this program?" If so and you didn't say yes, I don't think it's fully installed.

Don't sweat it. I have it open and can send it to him in any format he wants. MacGeek I am sure can do the same. It is a perfectly normal spreadsheet for a Windows machine or an Apple if you happen to be MacGeek.
