My family and I are thinking of relocating to Las Vegas for a fresh start. I checked out the extended stay America website and I only found 4.

I have never been to Vegas and don't know the area. I would like some information about the area, and maybe list from best to worst. The addresses are:

3045 S. Maryland Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89109

1550 East Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89119

4270 S. Valley View Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89103

I understand Summerlin is one of the best places to stay especially if you have school aged children. Can someone suggest affordable housing alternatives in the Summerlin area. We won't be able to rent for a while (credit issues), so extended stay, vacation rental type places would be our best options for now.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks. Budget is a bit on the low side. $1000 would be perfect, can do up to $1300-400.

How old would your kids be when they're here? Summerlin is certainly a good area but there are other good alternatives, probably less expensive, for schooling for your kids.

I have a 2nd grader and my daughter is 4. She doesn't attend school yet, Pre-K would be nice if it is free, if not she can wait until Kinder. She just started reading on her own.

I am a single mom.

89109 is pretty much the highest crime zip code in Las Vegas, so scratch the Maryland Pkwy address off your list.

Hi, thanks for that. I won't be able to sign/enter a conventional lease right now because of a recent eviction. So I want to stay in an extended/short stay places for a bit. Places where I am not signing a lease or where they don't have to do credit checks etc. I just pay monthly.

I will try to save up 4-6 months rent before trying to rent, so I can offer that when the time comes for me to rent.

Apologies for been long winded.
