Golden Corral? Seriously? That's what we're lacking?

I drive by the construction site every day on my way to work. I could have reported this weeks ago if I thought anyone cared. I've watched it go up from the day they poured the concrete slab.

What's so special about Golden Corral?

I would have thought we'd be going ballistic over a Chick-Fil-A or a Cracker Barrel.

Meh, another crappy buffet with a bonus fountain of chocolate flavored pathogens. Well, maybe it will keep some of the folks with bad hygiene away from the other restaurants.

Had the displeasure of dining at the ST George location. If I want to blow $10 on a meal, I will take the buffet at Sams Town any day over Golden Corral.

Outside of Las Vegas, I always look for a Golden Corral for a nice buffet, and even with the buffet offerings in this town, I'll be going there!

I like it because I'm poor. Lol.
This is not too far from the house.

The are definitely other restaurants I'd rather have.

I have to say that as far as buffets go, I have always had good luck at Golden Corral. it has some nostalgia for me, too. As a kid growing up in a small town, GC was one of the nicer places in town to eat. Everyone always wanted that for their birthday dinner! I was eating there when I was too short to reach the salad bar (yes I was the odd kid who preferred salad to anything else)
