I'm not positive but I think the taxis and shuttle companies have a deal with the hotels NOT to allow free shuttles to and from airports until you are a whale and then the casinos have to send their "private" cars and drivers to pick them up. There are lots of past taxi drivers on this site that will know the actual regulations on this. I think I recall one of the taxi drivers telling me this in the 90's.

No free shuttles except for hotel guests. YOu want to do that you can pick any of the east side places. Note though it is difficult to get from any of them to Laughlin. You can get a shuttle to Laughlin from the airport but you have to pay for it. From the hotels it will have to be a rent a car. And that rent-a-car will not necessary be cheap. Captive audience.

Cheapest way is probably a cheap rental from the airport.

I plan on staying at the Hotel. I noticed Sam's Town has a free airport shuttle. The vans to BHC seem to be unpredictable. And they try and get you for 60 if you buy at the airport. Greyhound is 13, but doesn't leave until 8pm (or 5 in the am). I'm considering hitch-hiking, after taking transit bus to Railroad Pass. I'm staying in Laughlin indefinitely, so if I rent a car, I will be back to square one, when I return it.

Baymont Inn just south of the strip has a free shuttle to the airport and to the strip.

Thanks! With this site I was able to get the info for Laughlin Public transit, and you can reserve a space on their daily run to SSTT. Fridays it only goes to Sunset Station and weekends are null. 20 USD, I think its office is Riverside Laughlin. No big boxes. So I will probably do a hotel with a free shuttle, like Palace Station, then take the 104 or Deuce to SSTT, and on to Laughlin. One less hitch-hiker in Vegas thanks to the nice folks on this forum. Cheers, everyone! And that Bay Hotel is very close to SSTT, so if they have a good rate, I'll stay there, and it will be an easy trip.
