Above ratings has Di Fara Pizza #1 for NY. They have one other store in the Country and it is located in Summerlin called Dom Demarcos. While SetteBello makes a good pizza I am partial to Dom Demarcos.

Oy. Are we really going to go through this again? Of course results are subject to debate since it's a matter of personal taste but you've opened the door where we're going to get lectured from the "experts" about what makes a good pizza. The painful part is that they will express their sentiments as a matter of fact instead of opinion or preference.

Sentiments such as......
Real pizza is about the thin crust.
NY style pizza sucks
Chicago style pizza sucks and isn't real pizza
I don't like foo foo things like (insert ingredient) on my pizza. CPK ruined pizza
It's about fresh ingredients
It's about the oven.
Margherita is the only true pizza style.
XXX makes it like they do in Italy.

In any case, thank you for the article. It was a nice diverse list.

Pizza is very subjective and its not what pizza style is better, but what pizza style you prefer. I am a thin crust guy, but I know a lot of people who love thick crust (chicago pies). I am also a fan of fusion type pizza such as a thai chicken or bbq chipotle chicken style.

My one liners were examples of what you'll probably see throughout the thread. I could have thrown in an introductory sentence for more clarity. I didn't think that was necessary, but I see now that it is.

Being from Brooklyn New York, I think I am a authority on NY style pizza,
And best Pizza bang for your buck is Metro.

Is metro NY Style? I always thought the crust was a little to thick for me. I always thought it was more midwest style?
