I have had a hankering lately for a chicken fried steak. Last time I had good one was a loooong time ago at the old Blue Diamond Truck Stop restaurant at Blue Diamond & I15. The truck stop is now a Travel America and the restaurant is long gone, morphed to FF places. What is your rec on the best place in Las Vegas for a CFS?

I don't know about "best" but the chicken fried steak at Longhorn (Harmon and Boulder) is easily the best bang for the buck.

I worked in that truck stop restaurant back in the early nineties. The chicken fried steak was good because our cook Leonard was the MAN. He could whip up biscuits and gravy like nobody's business as well.

The cracked egg offers chicken fried steak. I've never tried it personally, but I've never had a bad meal there. Here's their menu.
