Being practical, $50K is a pretty good down payment on a house.

Being impractical I'd deposit it at the cage of a casino where that gets me good comps, and play big in low vig games and try to get a winning streak going.

I'd use it to play poker, but any game where that would be a session buy in, or even a few session buy ins, I'd probably be the weakest player at the table.

You think you can find a realtor and a house to make an offer on in 24 hours of receiving 50k?

Okay, I'd buy a small drive through coffee shack and start a small business.

If I have to burn the $50k completely without trace in 24 hours then I'd get a penthouse, rent a lambo, and eat at every ridiculously priced restaurant you guys could name for me. At my last hour I'd give whatever is left to a local elementary school.
Do you have your eyes set on a drive through that is for sale currently? Just curious how you would start a business in such a short amount of time.

If I was able to take whatever winnings I got from gambling I would use about $10,000.00 for that and keep the winnings if there were any.
The rest I would donate.

$10k for video poker on $500 denomination max bet
$20k for bottle service @ Hakkasan for New Year's Eve.
$10k for the rhino's VIP room which has no cameras
$10k for drugs for and my best mates

That's just 6 hours of normal life for me, except its a little more than what I usually spend.

A little nip/tuck. (just a little!)

Some new clothes - but nothing designer. Any duds that fit will do.

Donate the rest to Nevada SPCA and Animal Foundation.

I'm one of those "weird" people that doesn't drink and rarely gambles in Vegas. So given that, the following might make some sense.

1. Immediately upgrade my lodging to the Skylofts @MGM, enjoying the free Rolls-Royce ride.

2. Get Skylofts to send house limo - I wouldn't mind rolling in the Rolls again - to take me to the finest haberdashery on the Strip so that I can suited up for a night on the town.

3. Have lunch at Verandah, dinner at Lakeside, breakfast at the Mansion.

4. Get a VIP cabana @ Wet Republic and get the cabana host to ask any and all redheaded ladies to join me for free drinks, eats and visual admiration.

5. Invite the friendliest of the ladies to join me later at Mandarin Bar. I order a cherry ginger ale and tell them to charge me the champagne rate as I enjoy the amazing views outside.

6. Hop back in the limo with the gingers and head over to my VIP table at Hyde Bellagio. The Cristal and Seagram's (Ginger Ale ) will be flying fast and furious.

7. What happens at the Skylofts...

8. Make a morning appointment at the Mandarin Oriental Spa for "the works".

9. Take the Skyloft Rolls to the airport and enjoy my first-class flight home.

(Whatever money I would have had left was tipped generously to various staff that I encountered. Ideally, they would all remember me when I come back later in my regular upper-low roller status. )
