I always just deal with the lot fleet manager and pay in cash. Keeps the BS out of the negation and everybody makes out on the deal.

I'm employed specifically to get them in and fill out the guest form.
There hasn't been a single car lot I've been to, all over this country, where they didn't try to get me in to fill out the form. Seems to be pretty standard.

Sad thing is that you don't get any more VIP service for your car than I do. Once the dealership makes the sale you are the same as every other *******.

But I don't have to deal with a salesman that is just go between me and the lot manager on the final price. I know what I want and have a good idea on how much to pay. The lot has to eat also so I don't lowball but don't make me pay for Thanksgiving Dinner.

True but I might want to use my available cash for an investment that will net me a profit.

Then go in with a pre-approved loan from a credit union and make a deal. I just hate dealing with a sales force that is not enable to deal and would rather just change the numbers around to appear that I am getting a deal and waste my time in the process.
