one word... I am responsible for this, but Kabuto has nothing to do with Buffet's. But they do have a tasters menu with courses.

I salivate when I read the Kabuto reviews and pics...that and Joel Robuchon...I did have uni once 15 years ago fresh out of the Mediteranean. Sliced it open, I think it was bright yellow and had a sweet taste, wasn't bad...the last 2 times was that gray nasty stuff at the ayce dives...was a struggle to get down and completely different than what I remembered.

Benn doing so much ayce sushi lately...it fills me up without feeling bad about getting stuffed.

I love Las Vegas...get so bored when I visit family back home on the outskirts of Albany, NY. If you want a really good meal, expect a 40 mile round trip drive. We're spoiled here. I complain when I drive to Henderson for something.

Personally, I'd never ever eat uni at a less than five star restaurant... there is to many parasites that can come from it.

here is Kabuto's uni from last time(far right).
