Where did you stay for 3 days?

I've slept at the truck stop a few times but there's a 12 hour limit I believe. Plus a cop started harassing me.

I've gone weeks without eating before but I wouldn't recommend it or do it again.

According to the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, you're allowed to park overnight in Walmart parking lots. In August of 2009 Virginia Thomas told National Public Radio that she and her husband are RVers and they park their their 40-foot Prevost motorhome in Walmart parking lots in many different states to avoid camping fees and have a place to pick up food and use the bathroom. "We have been in dozens of Walmart parking lots throughout the country. It's one of our favorite things to do if we're not having to plug in and we've got enough electricity."

So if they can take up that many spaces, why can't you park your car there? I've heard that you should alert security to the fact that you will be there so they don't wake you up in the middle of the night.

^ This!

There is something seriously wrong with your priorities if you're willing to live like a homeless person to feed a $5000 gambling habit.

OP if you are bringing 5 k to gamble, why not pay 500 towards a room and gamble 4500 instead of the 5000 ? If you cannot find the willpower to do this I promise you this town will eat you up and spit you out within that two weeks. Don't be foolish.

Look at Sam's Town on Boulder hey. Come on weekdays and get the rewards card for a discount. I think they have as shuttle to the strip so you can save on gas there. It's ok to be cheap but damn. $5,000 in Vegas can go quick. Another consideration Is why not fly in take a shuttle to hotel and the not worry about driving into town. How much do you plan to spend on gas alone.

Then again you know what you want to do. Once you get in town check with a few of the homeless for suggestions.
