Weird question I know, but how are the streets in Vegas road kill wise? It just breaks my heart, and today I witnessed/almost witnessed it today which made me ask. The answers aren't gonna make or break my decision, just wanna know before hand. Thanks

Vegas practically roadkill free...don't EVER come to Tx!

Seriously, though the city of Las Vegas does a great job in this respect PLUS there are far fewer pets roaming at large and not as much wildlife to be struck on the roads.

I have been here 7 months, and driven 7,000 miles. I have yet to see ANY roadkill at all.

We only run over pedestrians here in Vegas. Rabbits and house pets get a pass.

Most people don't allow pest to roam free, although I've seen a couple of runaway dogs get run over, but that's been over a 50 year period.

We have very little wildlife here in town anymore, so that's not too likely either. If you are out in the desert at night you might run over a kamikaze jack rabbit now and then. And in many areas along Nevada highways, you have to keep in mind that it is free range, and there are no fences to keep cows in.

As far as I know we have no road kill law as they do in my home state of West Virginia, population 2.5 million people, 17 billion deer.

And unfortunately that happens about twice a week.

The tastiest road kill in Vegas (or just about anywhere for that matter) can be found at John Mull's - Best BBQ in Las Vegas at John Mull's Meats & Road Kill Grill. Best meat market, meat butcher in Las Vegas.

I totally agree.

And if you do run over a deer ...say up in White Pine County ....take it to John Mull top be processed.

That's supposed to pets - not pests. But do let your pests run out in the road to be kilt. That's OK.
