Did you know two of the best places for creamy frozen treats in Las Vegas are within sight of each other?

Many residents and some visitors know all about Luv-It Frozen Custard | Las Vegas, NV 89104. But just across LVB is "Art of Flavors", a gelato shop that opened last fall. We would drive all the way from the Lakes to get custard at Luv-It Frozen Custard (that place on Durango is awful). Art of Flavors is so good that we now wind up there as often as at Luv-It Frozen Custard. I was motivated to post about Art of Flavors as this picture just popped up in my Facebook feed, and I don't recall them ever being mentioned in this forum.

Eating Las Vegas | ART OF FLAVORS is Open!

It's in the same strip mall as Viva Las Arepas (another place you must try).

Not that I would know, but I'm told "Art of Flavors" is on Las Vegas Boulevard, right next to the Olympic Garden strip club (whatever a strip club is).

Hey, somebody told me...

If you've been to Dairy Queen you know what frozen custard is.

I've always wondered if Luv-It is really frozen custard or homemade ice cream. Whatever it is it's the best in town.

Venezuelan food, nothing special as far as the food I've tried. If you want ice-cream Sprinkles Cupcakes at the LinQ serve delicious ice cream. Forget about the cupcakes, I thought the icing was too sweet but the ice cream is definitely worth going to the LinQ. I love the Pistachio flavor and also the Triple Chocolate. I will definitely try all their flavors. Sprinkles is always packed with people waiting in line.

For cakes and pastries nothing beats Manan Bakery of course in Spring Valley.

And then stop at Dino's next door and sing karaoke with us! Uber-dive bar, but been around for over 50 years. Low ceilings, lots of smoke, cheap beer, and vintage B&W porn on the TVs behind the bar.. one of my favorite places

It's several blocks north of the Stratosphere.

Luv-It Frozen Custard is on Oakey, just off Las Vegas Blvd, maybe 1/2 block east.

Art of Flavors is at the NW corner of Oakey and Las Vegas Blvd. You can see Luv-It Frozen Custard when you're standing in the parking lot of Art of Flavors.
