Well, the events of my car being breached are now a distant memory. I honestly can barely believe it but today my dog was stolen out of my backyard in broad daylight. I wasn't home but my wife let our dog out into a 100% inescapable yard. Went out a few minutes later and the dog was gone. I'm beyond devastated and am posting this in the off chance anyone who frequents this forum sees her. Her name is Daisy and you can feel free to PM me if you see her. Thank you.

I hate hearing it: things come in 3's! But I refuse to believe that!

Sorry to hear about this! But with fewer and fewer homeowners, and more and more renters, everywhere in the valley, this could be a factor!

I remember you being an 89121-er, like myself, and I'm curious as to why you left 89121 for Green Valley?

I've been in 89121 for almost 18 years now and I've always felt perfectly safe in this area of town, and me, walking my ferrets in the neighborhood early morning hours, and no negative incidents.

I'm not the original poster, but I just moved FROM Green Valley to 89121. We wanted a single story and it was just so hard to find one that fit. We moved from an 8 year old house to one that's 25. So far we like it.

So sorry to hear about the dog! Check with all of your neighbors. Check the pound. Check everywhere! I wonder if it is related to whoever broke into your car. You need to get some security cameras for your home. I hope you get your dog back!

I hope you find your dog. I reposted what you said with the picture under the Vegas and LasVegas subs on Reddit. Hopefully a few more locals will be looking. Did you file a police report? Is the dog chipped?

Henderson or Green valley are safer, the further from the strip the better.

Thank you. I did file a report. The police are very uninterested in such matters it seems. No chip and she didn't have her tags on since she was home. Not that it necessarily would have mattered if someone took her. It doesn't make any sense. She's a mut, worth very little money. She's worth the world to me though.

It sounds like a targeted crime. First the car, then the dog. It doesn't make sense as random crimes. My wife and I kept our eyes open last night when we went out, and will let you know if we see her.
