Reading another thread this just occured to me...I can't recall ever noticing a pool in any of the parks here.

I know many HOAs have pools for residents but do any of the city parks have pools?
I'm thinking it might be possible in the older parts of town.

Can't recall if Sunset Park might have one?

Garside Pool is in the process of being renovated. Doolittle Community Center also has a pool. But that's about it, I think. Sunset Park has a pond, but no swimming.

There are a number and some city facilities are operated by the Y. See the pool on Durango at Gowan and the indoor one at Buffalo around Elkhorn.

Perhaps check the web site Clark County Parks Dept.
There's a wonderful aquatic facility in the NE, maybe Sahara and Hollywood. There's an indoor pool and in the summer there's a water slide and other kid activities.

There are some at the community centers in NLV. There's a nice one on Allen & Washburn, I believe. It has a giant waterslide and everything.

The city park on McCleod has a community pool that you pay for each time you go to swim.

In the county boundaries, Spring Valley's Desert Breeze Community Center has indoor and outdoor pool facilities and for a minimal fee the public can use its facilities. West Flamingo Community Center also has an indoor pool while some of the parks in Spring Valley have water play areas for kids like the Spring Valley Community Park and Red Ridge Park.

I'm sure there are a few parks in the city boundaries with pool facilities.

Doesn't the outside pool water get hot during the summer?

Nope. At least I didn't think so.
