Every pee test I have ever taken included a thermometer check as soon as I exited the bathroom. Often the sample cup has a temperature strip (like a fish tank) right on the cup.

Every European who reads this thread is shaking their heads and saying, "You Americans really submit to urinating into a cup? Really?"

the lab doesn't check for body temp... that's just "DOH".

since you are not sure here, it's a site test by the technician collecting the sample. if the sample is outside of the range, the test is automatically invalidated... BEFORE GOING TO ANY LABORATORY.

How is the test valid when somebody pees into the cup then somebody from the HR department collects the cup from the restroom and seals it in a plastic bag and the contacts Labcore to have it picked up later in the day. Anyways the system does not work. After interviewing employees that where suspected of working under the influence. Some revealed how they passed the employment drug screen.

Although not the casino industry, another industry I know (transportation) people are subject to pre-employment, random, and anytime there is a work-related accident/injury drug tests.

If it's more important to you to have employment options, and higher pay and benefits, Just Say Nope to Dope and UGHHH to Drugs.

We go to Quest so it's an disinterested 3rd party. Every step of the process is meant keep track of the chain of custody. YOU seal it in a bag, sign it, she puts that in a bag, seals it, signs it, you sign it etc. My company only receives the results, and even then I have to sign a form allowing Quest to release it to them.

Lesson learned. In the future, don't indulge for at least a month before any possible drug test, then you'll be fine. If it's a urine test that is, with a hair test forget about it.

Wouldn't change a thing as far as employment goes. You think that local truck divers, heavy machinery operators get to smoke weed in Colorado. Any employer in Colorado can not hire based on a failed drug test, doesn't matter if it's legal.
