For those of you who found the businesses at the Container Park less than inspiring what would you like to see go in there. What could potentially draw you in on a regular basis? If you've been there and enjoyed your visit what sort of other places do you feel would make it even better.

Personally, I would love to see a good Italian beef sandwich place go in there. I'd be more than willing to venture downtown on a regular basis for that as long as its good.

I think the whole thing needs to be just cafes, bars and restaurants (with most being family friendly during the day). Im not going in there to buy a handmade dress or scarf when I could buy one in my suburb if Im local or in my hotel if Im a visitor. Put a spin on it where it has to be local (no chains or regional/local chains). It could be kinda like chinatown except the focus is on amazing food of any style or ethnicity.

The same type of stores that draw people to outlets, malls and shopping centers over and over and over again.

No need to reinvent the wheel but tweaking it won't hurt.

On a side note, I would go there if there were a Cinnabon, Apple and Gadget store.

Tried to go to all three yesterday with no luck at Fashion Show Mall. Cinnabon has recently closed or moved, Apple store was too crowded, and the small gadget store might be moving soon also.

I think more cafes, Ice cream shops and more places to sit an enjoy the kids playing since the center of it is very kids oriented. Home décor or art is ok. More Kids boutique. Kids toy store.....there are a ton of kids there and not much to buy for them.

We went in Dec .... I thought it was interesting, but like others said the shops didn't do anything for me. But then again, I don't shop. However I would definitely return if there were more restaurants to choose from. We ate at the Mexican place ...mine was ok; my co-hort's was bad. I don't eat meat so there wasn't much choice for vegetarians.
I guess it depends on what audience they want to attract ... locals or tourists?

Why make it like any other mall if there are plenty of them around? And an ABC or Walgreens? Really? Why would someone go there for that?

For those into shopping, local businesses have stores at Container Park but I prefer restaurants so it would be nice to have a Japanese restaurant there or a Thai restaurant. Le Thai down the road is a bit overrated as far as Im concerned. I would love to see Archis at Container Park. It will definitely blow the lemon grass out of LeThai as far as great tasting food and consistency is concerned.

Actually, I want a Walmart - but acknowledge the fact the site does not have the room.

I think the lack of space will keep restaurants limited. They do have to stay close to the size of a shipping container after all. Even with patio space it's just not much room.
