that's why i love living in the south strip area, close to the strip, the freeway takes you anywhere in 15 min., I get from Silverado Ranch and 15 to Civic Center and Cheyenne in 15 minutes, everything is over here, dunkin donuts, town square, outlet center, blue diamond crossing, frys, all the major supermarkets, fast food places, its all very convenient...

Getting tacos at Jack-In-The-Box has become a LV ritual when I go out there. YUM!

True confession: I have never once eaten at Jack-In-The-Box.

LOL...my first job at 16 was at a J-I-T-B! Something about those tacos...don't know exactly what it is. It's probably some kind of thing that brings me back to my youth...like when one hear's a song that was popular during their younger days.

The Black Bear Diner was my first ever meal in Las Vegas as a resident. My husband took me there after arriving in the Penske. We were starved and wanted "a real meal" but somewhere casual because we looked like crap after 3 days in a truck.

We've been back several times since. Will gets the chicken fried steak, my son gets the bigass waffle and I get various items that are all good.
