I moved to Las Vegas from Texas about 6 months ago due to work. I chose a 2bdrm/2bath apt in Henderson, near I-215 and I pay $950 a month. The complex is nice with no problems. I leased it in a hurry for lack of knowing the area and I just wanted a safe place but now I find that I don't need the extra room or bath and decent roommates are hard to find. My lease is expiring so I want to find a studio or a 1bd/1bath apt or a room in a house/ condo etc with one roommate for around $500-$550 per month. I have a nice car which needs a carport, garage or off-street parking. One observation about Las Vegas is that, outside the tourists on the strip, I don't really see very many young people in Henderson or elsewhere. Young in terms of ages 25-35. Where are they? Also, the ratio of men to women in this town seems to be 1 woman for every 3 males. It is not unusual to go to meetup type meetings only to see 80% men 20% women! Why are there so many men in Vegas?

Where are the safest and best apartments or areas to live, within 10-20 minutes of the airport?

Post on craigslist for a room mate. Personally I think you should get a 1 bdrm.

Hi there don't know if you found a place or roommate. My boyfriend is in a similar situation. He moved to Vegas last month and signed a lease on a two bedroom but I am no longer able to relocate. If you are interested you can message me. We are both from Texas, early 30, clean and professional. The apartment is close to 215 off of silver ado ranch.
