@tiger08 - I'm probably more classic rock, this couple who is coming is very much oldies type music. Ever been to the center bar at the Paris on a weekend night, that's they type of music their into, Brick House, I will survive, War etc. I like that music but I don't go looking for it.

EDC, yea, I think I'd feel out of place there . . .

+1 The Bootlegger's Jam Session. One of the best "open mic" nights you will find anywhere. Go early enough to enjoy a nice dinner there and you can get better seats than sitting in the bar.

There use to be Old School Fridays at the Silverton. There is also a local radio station that plays that type of old school music your talking about 88.1 Might wanna chime in and see if you hear anything.

What about the Bourbon Room @ the Venetian. More 80's MTV type of music but we had a great time there. Dance floor, tv's that play old MTV videos and the DJ interacts with the crowd.
