Have guests coming in town this weekend who would like us to take them to a lounge where 40 somethings relax, dance a little to "old-school" music. Does anyone know of such a place?

Thanks in advance!

What are you considering "old school" music?
70s, 80s 90s?

Definitly not disco, more like mo-town type stuff, understand that might be going back a little further than 70's. I don't listen to this music so I'm really out of my element.

AccessVegas had 3 places that may fall under your request:
1. Kenny Davidsen's Friday night gig at the Tuscany in the T-Spot Lounges 10:30 pm - 2 am.
2. The Dispensary: Jazz too...Old-school Vegas bar and famous for their $5.95 half-pound burger and fries. Located 2451 East Tropicana
3. The Bootlegger: All star jam sessions Monday nights at 9 pm. You are very likely to see more than one local celebrity and jamming.

Personally, I love the Bootlegger's Italian food and history which you can find on their website.

On most Moday nights at the Palms the band "Sante Fe and the Fat City Horns" play. These are some of the top musicians in town and also quite often musicians from some of the Headliners in town sit in.
Santa Fe and The Fat City Horns

Yellow Brick Road is probably one of the best Rock bands in town if that is your thing.

Lol. I'm 40 something and I'm trying to figure out a way to go to EDC without looking out of place! I feel I'm still too young to listen to oldies but everyone thinks I'm too old to listen to techno.
