I didn't know till today we have a drive in theater! I'm going to go tonight to see Jersey Boys. It's at Rancho and Carey! I always thought we didn't have any here! So tonight will be a bit warm and it is going to be light quite late today. But I bet this is a ball in Spring and Fall.

Yes we do, it's not that bad. Of course, they don't have the old speakers which went on your window but we saw The 3 Stooges there, good place to take kids during fall or spring.

It's one of the last Drive-Ins in the west. Enjoy it while you can.

My parents used to take me there in footie-pajamas when I was little. My sister and I slept through "One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest". Yes, I'm old.

We love to go there. It is the best when you have small children! And most of the time you can see 2 movies, for under $20.00 for the family. They use to let you switch movies after the first ones were done, but they don't allow that anymore.

I loved my evening at the Drive In! Jersey Boys was pretty good if you go in thinking it's a movie remake of a Broadway Musical. You will be disappointed if you are expecting an accurate portrayal of the life of the Four Seasons. And Clint Eastwood even had a little cameo.

When I got there I realized I have driven by this place a hundred times and never knew the theater was there. It's right by Fiesta and Texas Station. We drove in and there they were, those old yellow arches over the ticket booths. And you follow the arrows to the screen showing your movie. They even have the big humps so you can angle your car correctly to see the picture. The sun had just set when we arrived and some kids were playing ball in front of the screen. It was just the perfect touch when 2 classic cars pulled in beside us. The cars were so cool we got out and asked about them. People were very friendly and the kids were well behaved. Yes it was hot but there was a nice breeze and we weren't uncomfortable.

I didn't see the snack bar but I will next time. And I will go back! For $7 per person it was a lot of fun and we both enjoyed it. Like someone else said, there aren't many of these places left. Go while you still can! Take the kids and grands too!
