No, we're on Time of Use, so use little power between 1-7 from June-Sept. We also dont' have a pool. But we have no screens, panels, LED lights, etc., so wouldn't really call our house energy efficient. Our appliances are fairly new, though, so that helps.

Energy efficient homes in Henderson easily get in below $100 at peak in the hot summer. And this is at 72 or so. That is for 2,000 SF of modern design. Say Anthem.

I'm in the far SW in a 1 story 1800 sq foot home. I'm not on the Time of Use plan. I put solar screens on the 4 windows that face west, the south facing ones are shaded by a covered patio. My estimated bill for mid June to mid July is $163, $82 16 days into the cycle. My lights are almost all CFL or LED and I set the thermostat at 76-78. I have been working from home the last couple of months, so I am using more energy. I have a huge power hog gaming PC with dual 27" monitors running 12 hours a day. That adds a pretty good chunk to the bill. Still, if my power bill never goes over $200 I will be pretty satisfied. I have paid nearly that much for power in apartments in MN and ND that were much smaller.
