So my wife went to some women's health office today. They asked her to go to pharmacy to pick up prescription, so she can bring it back and have a nurse inject her. Wasted 2.5 hours of waiting time and wicked slow service.

This is crazy. It is like going into a coffee shop and they tell you to go buy coffee beans elsewhere, come back and they can brew coffee for you.

She called another women's office, this time she asked and they told her the same thing!

Ridiculous!

Tomorrow we are going to call Women's Healthcare of LV (across from UMC). I think we have to go directly to real hospitals and not satellite shops. If you are women's health office, shouldn't you have one of the top medicines in stock!?!?!?

I love LV so far, but the healthcare experience is making her think about going back to Boston. Hopefully this is nothing.

I suggest developing a relationship with a good, independent, primary care physician. (I can recommend one, if you want to DM me)

If it's something she takes regularly, after the first visit, they should be able to simply call it in for her and she can pick it up on the way to the office. Typical wait time for my doctor is fifteen minutes. He's not the warmest guy in the world, but he's good.
