When youve been sitting at a light for 7 minutes in 100 degree heat I dont blame people for going through that red at the last second. Pedestrians and drivers are both stupid at times, but lets not let the traffic management system go un-criticized.
No more round-abouts. We have one up the road from us in the Anthem area. Causes nothing but problems.

We see on the news all the time about pedestrians getting hit by cars. Must be mostly tourists?

I agree. For the people too dumb to figure out how a four-way intersection works, a roundabout is way, way, way out of their league.

Roundabouts are awesome, most of the time, like Town Center drive.

The ones on Carey are terrible.

I really love the high T intersections as well.

I suspect that many of these pedestrian deaths are related to alcohol or suicide.

Maybe she is one of the pedestrians who just feels the right to walk against signals too? LOL
It's because BMW always has the right of way.

A teacher I work with bikes to school. Just this past week, he was going through the light at desert inn/fort apache, and a car in the turning lane turns, and slams right into his bike. Light was green and all. My buddy goes flying. The car just wasnt paying attention. Then has to nerve to blame the pedestrian saying "your bike was going too fast". Luckily my friend didnt have to go to the hospital but there are more than plenty of idiots driving too

Quite a few of these fools also reside in So Cal too.
