Please need to know what is the best er hospital for children, went to umc and had bad experience, and if you can recomend a good pediatrician (please provide name and phone #) I would appreciated thank you in advanced.

i hear sunrise is the best, but limited for insurance... hpn and sierra are not accepted there.

Sunrise is the only hospital to go to. I had my last two children at Mountainview which is also a part of Sunrise. But Sunrise is the best possible to handle everything and anything.

You are asking two separate questions
As far as ER, you go to the closet ER as its an emergency. Right ?
If you are going to an ER in lieu of a pediatrician in a non emergency that would be wasting the ER precious resources.
Try different pediatricians until you are comfortable with the DR skills and bedside manner. As a parent you will know when you have found the best option for a doctor.
If its after hours and NOT an emergency stay away from the ER. There are plenty of urgent care clinics that operate late at night.

Hospital has been around for a long time and from family and co-workers experience they were satisfied with Sunrise.

Thank you so much for the info, I will try Sunrise and call the Doctor you mention above. Iam new to Vegas and finding a good Doctor is hard. Thank you again.

our granddaughter has a genetic heart condition and her pediatric cardiologist told us not to take her anywhere but sunrise should something require immediate attention.

UMC is supposed to be the Children's Hospital, but Sunrise claims the same thing. Sunrise has all the bells and whistles in case of serious problems, at least with your heart. I try to go there even though it's 13 miles because my Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist is right across the street. That decision saved my life recently. No clue on pediatricians these days. I know my daughter, who has lived here all her live and knows everyone, would only take my granddaughter to the best, so maybe I can find out.
