I was amazed at all of the green that should have been brown we saw throughout CA, NV and UT during our drive to CO last week. All was green due to the rains from a couple of weeks ago. In the desert flat lands where there is no place for the water to go but down or evaporate, the Norbert rain will create more green.

I share my location with my spouse and immediate family on Google+. You can set who and what level detail it shares (exact/city/don't share). We can see where each other are or were last at; very effective. If you are going camping or backpacking I'd email my expected path and campsites.

I'm sure there was some, but this was flooded not too long before I ventured through. The water line was a few inches behind me here. Just in front of me, there was some nuggets.
