Myself and every neighbor (4) around me is locked and loaded. Hopefully we're never put in that awful position, however, if we are I guarantee there's far more firepower in my cul-de-sac than any home invader is going to bring.

I love stories like this, Especially when the criminal dies in the end. I know it seems cryptic, but we work hard for our things, and these animals want to terrorize us and steal it from us. Makes me sick. I've had 2 car stereos stolen, and $2,000 worth of car parts for a race car I was building, which ended up causing me to sell it for a loss.

I want a gun, for protection, and for recreation, but I don't trust my daughter not to get into it. I suppose I could put a recreational gun in a gun cabinet and lock it, but that kind of defeats the purpose of a defensive weapon.

Look into a biometric gun safe. Ours is small, holds a pistol and two clips, quick entry. Will only open for my wife and I.

Yea this is crazy, blows my mind. Let them break into your house, rob you, hurt your family or worse but don't protect yourself and potentially hurt them.

[orphaned]

Note that all the shots fired were by the perp in the one incident. Second instance where the perp shot first. Need amendment 2A to forbid perps from carrying. Wonder how that would work.

Who would have thought it. The bad guys are using their second amendment rights!

Seeking common sense gun control is NOT rooting for the invader. NO ONE roots for the home invader.

If that's what you and SBender truly think, we'll never reach middle ground.
