They are doing ride and drives outside of the auction, for free. You get to ride around a track with a pro driver in a very fast car, and then drive around the latest models. Last year I got slung around in a Corvette ZR1 and a Mustang gt500. It starts today at 9pm at the Mandalay Bay convention center.

That all comes to an end as soon as one of those cars crashes and there's a death....or crashes and a lawsuit is filed and the victim becomes a multi-millionaire (lawsuit).

That isn't going to happen. The odds are so low that they may as well be zero. I did it last year, so I don't need to go again. (Not worth waiting in line for an hour for an experience that lasts one minute.) But I'm glad that I did it once.
