Anyone know if they're contemplating conversion of our street lighting to LED lighting in Las Vegas? Areas in which it's already been done? And will you miss the orange haze at night?
Not LED, but Henderson replaced the vast majority of our street lights a few years back with induction lights. You can see the difference when flying into town, or even toward Henderson. LV looks orange, Henderson looks greenish.

This city has so many days filled with sunshine (more than I've ever seen on the east coast!!!), yet the street lights remain on during peak brightness hours. I've done some research on the LV lighting project that GE toots their own horn about the conversion yet I've seen maybe all of 3 streets around the area fully converted to LED? I would love to have our company be able to supply LV with American made, 70%+ energy cost reduction/savings but it looks like that won't be happening...at least for awhile

If anyone is in need of commercial/industrial LED lighting products, I can help!
If you've been "all around the city," yet seen only 3 LED-converted streets around the area, I might suggest that your purpose for posting is more plainly revealed in your last sentence.

LED-converted streets are all over the place. More than 80% of Las Vegas' streetlights have been converted.
