Re: Barrymore

Nope. That's up by Desert Inn. Tuscany is on Flamingo.

I actually like the atmosphere there (Tuscany). It's more muted than most other places, but it's not stuffy or boring.

In October two days a week are 10X points so we go on those days.

Spending $40 is a BIG night for me so I have been having a ball with the free play!

Not much! I was just lucky and got a lot of play for what I spent!

One of the best Tuscany "comps" is the new residency there of Zowie Bowie on Tuesday nights. Fronted by Chris Phillips and the lovely Lydia Ansel, they are (in my opinion) one of the most dynamic local LV bands around. Their forte is 80's rock.

They also have a really good Salsa Night once a week and usually give free lessons.

Just for the heck of it we stopped at the player's club and asked how to get food comps. We have $700 worth of food comps! Holy Cow! We can use then at the gift shop or any of the restaurants.

Been coming to Vegas since 78 and these are amazing comps!
I agree, the Tuscany is a great off-strip casino. The Mexican restaurant at the casino is the best Mexican I've ever had.
