Depending on the day/time. The security check-in could be nasty coming back. Allow 2 hours arriving at the airport.

At least. Because if you don't you know what will happen.

When you get off the plane, hop on a rental car shuttle. It will take you to the rental car center which is about a mile in a half from Town Square at the south end of the strip(maybe further, Google it). From there you can walk up the strip or hop on a bus, your choice.

Also,Tahiti VillageLas Vegas Resort & Hotel | Tahiti Village is about a half of a mile from the rental car place. They have shuttles all over town for their guests. Maybe you could pay a transportation fee to hop on. I'd call and ask.

I walked to the airport years ago from the Trop. Pretty straightforward back then, you end up near the old intl terminal which they closed so not sure if it's still possible. But there was a sidewalk the whole way, took about 45 minutes. I was going to take a cab as I was on a long layover, but had my fill of the Strip and decided to walk instead. There were a few other people doing the walk on Trop too, but didn't see if they went to the airport.
