I let the buyer know all the problems it has.

He understands that he is buying as-is.

Can you make a contract stating as-is and that seller is no longer responsible for anything? I have the title in -hand

The lemon law doesn't go into effect with these types of transactions, right?

Unless you're a dealer or the buyer has something in writing from you stating otherwise, a private sale is always as-is. I'm no lawyer, but I'd be blown away if there was a law stating otherwise, especially in Nevada.

Any dispute at this level would probably be small claims. If you are concerned, just type up a list of known defects and have the buyer initial each defect and sign the bottom stating that they understands he/she is buying the vehicle with the listed issues needing repair.

Thanks.

I came from Massachusetts where the lemon law applies to dealer as well as private sales.
