After summer monsoon rains, I remember seeing a handful of desert tortoises. This was in the Summerlin area.

I thought they were endangered? Are they roaming in herds though Summerlin?

In over 30 years in Las Vegas, I have never seen (smelled) a skunk.

We don't have fleas either.

Oh, we most certainly have fleas here. I have been in many many houses across the valley. I have had to wipe off fleas after leaving some of these houses.
